I am a historian whose work focuses on the economic, environmental, and social history of Tampa during the Cold War. I currently teach at Polk State College and the University of Tampa. My work has been published in Tampa Bay History and the Florida Historical Quarterly, and I am currently a co-managing editor for the recently reestablished Sunland Tribune, a journal of local Tampa history.  I am available for talks and tours about Tampa and broader Florida history.
